Forman Perry Watkins Krutz & Tardy LLP, founded in 1986 in Jackson, Mississippi, is a general civil practice firm with a strong emphasis in tort, environmental, and commercial litigation. The firm now has six offices in five states. In early 2000, the firm opened an office in Dallas, Texas, followed by the opening of an office in New Orleans, Louisiana in April 2001. In August 2002, the firm opened an office in Houston, Texas. The Denver, Colorado and the Detroit, Michigan offices were opened most recently in October of 2008.

We litigate throughout the United States for both local and national clients. Our lawyers handle virtually every type of litigation from simple negligence claims to complex commercial litigation and mass tort claims involving thousands of plaintiffs. Lawyers within the firm also provide a wide spectrum of legal services in a number of other areas, including corporate law, commercial lending, bankruptcy, securities, commercial real estate, public utilities, antitrust and administrative law.

The firm has a strong belief in obtaining the best possible
results for its clients at the least possible cost, and all
management decisions are made with that goal in mind. All
substantial litigation is handled by case planning with the client.

The firm's computerized time-keeping system itemizes tasks
and hours as to the amount of time spent each day by each
attorney and legal assistant on each particular matter. The firm
will provide status reports at any interval requested by the
client on all referred cases and will identify factors such as
estimation of success, cumulative fees and expenses, expected
future fees and expenses and special issues.

The firm has adopted a policy of assigning work to the lowest
billing level at which the work can competently be
accomplished and regularly uses paralegals for routine
discovery matters. This policy enables us to handle matters
efficiently and increases the workload capability of the entire
firm.

We have organized and litigated mass tort cases involving
thousands of plaintiffs and thousands of documents. We utilize
the latest technology to handle all aspects of litigation, from
discovery through trial. We maintain an extensive medical
library and expert deposition depository.

Our firm has been involved in counsel sharing and joint
defense since the concept was first utilized in the asbestos
litigation. Since that time, we have routinely served as shared
litigation counsel in mass tort cases. We believe that counsel
sharing may result in an effective defense at a significant cost
savings in many types of multi-party litigation and welcome the
opportunity to discuss such an arrangement.
